Dots Big Bake!
We know how much our Dots and adults LOVE cake time! And although we can’t meet in person at the moment, we thought that it would be a good time to share some of our favourite bakes. This week we have Fork Biscuits! They are super easy to make and perfect for little ones to have a go too.
Fork Biscuits
Ingredients
100g Softened Butter
50g Caster Sugar
150g Self-Raising Flour
Method:
- Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees. Lightly grease two baking trays.
- Measure the butter into a bowl and beat to soften. Gradually beat in the sugar and then the flour. Bring the mixture together with your hands to form a dough. Form the dough into 16 balls about the size of a walnut and place well apart on the pre-prepared baking trays. Dip a fork in a little water and use this to flatten the biscuits.
- Bake in the pre-heated oven for 15-20 minutes until a very pale golden colour. Lift off the baking tray and leave to cool completely on a wire rack.
