All Saints Ilkley wins award

We are delighted to announce that Ilkley Civic Society has awarded All Saints Ilkley, and local architect Halliday Clark, a Design and Conservation Award in their 2020 awards.  The recognition has been given for the contemporary design of the new Link Building connecting the Church and Church House, as well as the overall reordering of the Church.  Ilkley Civic Society have issued a press release which can be viewed here.

Service information during Covid-19 outbreak

Although the church building is currently closed, we are still able to worship, pray and care for others remotely during this time.  Services are still taking place via a number of channels and we are exploring new avenues all the time.

Live Streaming

We are currently live streaming services via our YouTube channel and you can subscribe to this here.  We will be scheduling regular services of worship, prayer and bible reflection each week.  The schedule is currently as follows:

Mondays, 8.30am – Morning Prayer

Most Tuesdays, 7.30pm – Bible Reflection (Keep an eye on our YouTube channel for further updates)

Wednesdays, 8.30am – Morning Prayer

Sundays, 10.30am – Morning Worship

We know that not everyone is online and therefore we have also set up a Conference Call service plan.  Please share this with any friend, neighbour or relative who is not online.  The schedule for services via conference call is as follows:

Sundays, 9.15am – Morning Worship

‘Between You and Me’

Join us on Friday 24th April, 7.30pm, in the church for a fantastic evening with poet Ian McMillan and Olympic composer Luke Carver-Goss.  The title of the evening is ‘Between You and Me’, a deliciously funny, evocative and total charmer of a show!  Free tickets are available by emailing office@ilkleyallsaints.org.uk or telephone the Church Office (01943 816035).

Half-term ‘Fantastic Beasts’ workshop

Join our Heritage team on Monday 17th February, 1.30pm – 4pm, for an afternoon of half-term fun!  Invent your own fantastic beast and make a heraldic shield!  The session costs £5 per child and is suitable for 8 years and over.  Interested?  Email Joy Bray (edcoheritage@ilkleyallsaints.org.uk) or phone the Church Office on 01943 816035 to reserve a place.

Coming soon – Alpha course

Alpha is an 11-week course that creates a space where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about faith, life and God.  Our next Alpha course will start on Sunday 12th January at 6pm and everyone is invited to come along!  The session will start with tea/ coffee and cake, followed by a short film and then a time of discussion and questions.  If you’d like to come, please email the Church Office (office@ilkleyallsaints.org.uk) so that we have an idea of numbers for catering purposes.  We look forward to seeing you!

Carols by Candlelight

Our next Carols by Candlelight service will be held on Sunday 22nd December, at 6.30pm.  All are welcome!  Light refreshments will be served after the service.

Family Carols By Candlelight

Join us this Sunday, 8th December, at 4.30pm for our Family Carols By Candlelight service.  This will be a family friendly service and we look forward to welcoming the choir from All Saints’ C of E Primary School.  Do stay afterwards too for light refreshments.  All welcome!

Election Hustings

Churches Together in Ilkley will host a Hustings meeting on Monday 2nd December, 7.30pm, at All Saints Ilkley.  This is a public meeting, open to all, and all six candidates have been invited.  Questions can be submitted ahead of the meeting at  hustings@churchestogetherilkley.org.uk.
