Finding connections with God - Father Son and Holy Spirit

Announcement regarding the death of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of Prince Philip.  Our prayers are with the Queen and her whole family.

As a mark of respect our flag will be flown at half mast from the bell tower until the day of the funeral. There is also an online book of condolence that you can contribute to. You can find it by clicking here.

Yesterday we included some special prayers in our services and also showed a video tribute to Prince Philip from Bishop Nick at our 10:30am service.  If you would like to see the video again, please click here.

And finally, we would like to share this prayer from the Church of England:

God of our lives,
we give thanks for the life of Prince Philip,
for his love of our country,
and for his devotion to duty.
We entrust him now to your love and mercy,
through our Redeemer Jesus Christ.
Amen.

All Saints Eco-Bulletin

Protecting God’s creation for future generations is high on the agenda for churches but it can often feel daunting when we think about how we, as individuals, can make a difference.  As such, we are embarking on a series of Eco-bulletins to share facts, figures and useful tips to ensure that we all play our part in tackling climate change.  Please click here to find out more.

This Sunday, 12th July, All Saints Ilkley will re-open its doors for private prayer.  The building will be open from 1pm to 3pm every Sunday and anyone is welcome to come to the church for a short time of individual prayer and reflection.  In order to maintain social distancing, we will allow a maximum of six people in the building at any one time.  If you do visit us, and we have reached maximum capacity, we may ask you to wait outside for a short while until a space becomes available.  To find out more about what to expect when you visit the church, please watch the video below:

Interview with Andrew Parker – Mission Aviation Fellowship

The Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is one of our four Mission Partners here at All Saints Ilkley.  Our main connection is through the Parker family and prior to the lockdown we were looking forward to welcoming them to Ilkley to hear more about their mission and ministry in Uganda.  Although they can’t be with us in person, we were really pleased to be able to catch up with Andrew via Zoom last week.  To hear more about the work of MAF, click on the link below.
