Youth

Church for young people…

At All Saints Ilkley we love young people and think they are amazing. Our aim is to have safe and friendly spaces where young people from all backgrounds can hear about Jesus Christ and how he changes lives.

Release Sunday Evening

Release meets on Sunday evenings between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

Release is a church for young people (Year 7 and above).  There are social time, teaching and a space for worship. Add to this lots of cake and games!

Release is a community of young people who look to support each other, love, serve and be a blessing to our community. We are passionate about making Jesus real and relevant to the lives of the young people.

Focus – Sunday Morning

Focus is for Year 8, 9 & 10 on a Sunday morning during the 11 am service. Focus meets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday’s of each month.

At Focus expect to play games, look at different books of the Bible and have a laugh!

We gather in church to worship and then move into our group in a room next to Church.

T.N.T – Tuesday Night Teaching

TNT is for Year 8 upwards and meets on Tuesday evening in Church House at 7.30pm.

Make new friends and enjoy the opportunity to explore and understand the Bible. A welcoming place to go a little deeper in your faith.

Being a Christian isn’t always easy and at TNT we support each other along the way.

Partnership

Working collaboratively with other youth leaders we believe we have a better chance of helping young people thrive here in Ilkley. So with other groups, we have run social trips, worship events, mission initiatives, money courses, club nights and parties. We also contribute to a monthly youth leaders gathering in Ilkley, to support one another, share stories and dream up new ideas.

Missional Generation

In addition, we work closely with Missional Generation to help find the best ways to connect with all the awesome young people we meet in ways that make sense to them. We have enjoyed helping them develop new youth resources to use at ASI and other churches.

For parents

Young people live in a demanding and ever changing culture. Mentoring is a great way of helping young people journey through some of the challenges that can arise. Leaders from All Saints have experience of mentoring young people on a one to one basis or within a small group. We always ensure parents are informed of the nature of these sessions and consent from parents is obtained in advance.
