This Sunday, September 14th 2025, is our annual Mission Partners Gift Day. A day to both thank God for His goodness to us in all that He provides for our everyday lives, but also to respond to that goodness by giving financially to support the work of Christian mission across the world.

Therefore, we are encouraging the All Saints Church family to give financially to support our Mission Partners who are:

Diocese of Sittwe, Myanmar: Bishop James Min Dein;

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF): Andrew & Liz Parker (based in Uganda);

Church Mission Society (CMS): Rosie & Stu Bayford (based in Brazil); and

Koshish Mental Health Self-Help Organisation (Nepal).

This Gift Appeal is the main way we will be enabling the church family to directly support our Mission Partners and all donations will be distributed equally between them:

This booklet explains a bit more about our Mission Partners Gift Appeal and each of our Mission Partners; and

Please be generous in support of our four partners in the Gospel. Thank you!

UPDATE: Thank you to all who so generously donated to help us raise £15,075 for our Mission Partners!

Join us at our Goodbye Church House Events - Saturday and Sunday January 4th and 5th 2025

Church House has been a special place for many people at All Saints for a number of years. For some this is the space where they first met God and for others a space where their faith began to flourish. We want to mark the memories and ministry that has happened in this building with a final party. Our Goodbye Church House Party will be held on Saturday January 4th 2025, 3:00pm - 4:30pm. We will gather together in Church House to share and give thanks for the memories of our time in this place, sing worship together and pray for the building and its future for being a place to encounter God.

We will be leaving our permanent mark on this place by writing these memories and prayers along the walls of Church House which will then be encased in the walls of the new Church House. This is an event for the whole church family whether Church House is a place you have been to for the last week, last year or last century.

You are also invited to join us for breakfast between our 8:00am and 10:15am morning services the following day where our young people will be serving pastries and other breakfast items, tea, coffee and maybe even some juice. Join us between 9:00am and 10:00am on Sunday January 5th.

We know that Church House is a special place for our young people at All Saints Church. Therefore we have decided to run not one but two Goodbye Church House events. The first listed above is for the whole church family and the second is our Goodbye Church House Sleepover. This is an event that will run from Saturday January 4th 5:00pm to Sunday January 5th with a 10:00am pickup (you can pick up your child anytime from 8:00am if needed). Our event is open to anyone aged 11-18 who would like to celebrate the amazing time we have had in Church House. We will have a silent disco, a great party tea, movie night and breakfast together in the morning.

If your young person would like a place, please click here to book.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with Adam at: adam.robinson@allsaintsilkley.org.

We will also be having a final Church House celebration for our Saints group on the morning of Sunday January 5th.

All Saints hosts an annual fun day for refugee families through local group Wharfedale Refugee Response and Refugee Action in Bradford. Families come for a day of welcome and respite from very difficult circumstances. There are craft tables including forest school craft, icing biscuits and making bead pictures as well as car tracks and ping pong, and in 2024 there was even a bouncy castle in church in the afternoon. Families come from many different countries for a day out where the children can have some much needed fun and parents can hopefully enjoy refreshments in a relaxed setting and receive a little extra help in the form of donations of clothing and food.

Building for the Future

And just like that, it's been 4 and a half years since Phase 1 of our Building Redevelopment Project was completed! The accessibility and flexibility of our new buildings (the main Church, the Link, the kitchen and toilet facilities) have enabled these spaces to be used in so many different ways, and we have been thrilled to see these spaces well used and enjoyed by the church family and our wider community.

The only downside of Phase 1 is that it has been increasingly obvious that there is a gulf between the quality of the resources it has given us and the other rooms in Church House. Therefore, the PCC have now decided to go ahead with the fundraising for Phase 2 of our development project: the redevelopment of Church House, both the hall (upstairs) and the church office (downstairs).

For more information about our plans for Phase 2, please take a look at our information booklet.

If you would like to make a donation towards our fundraising appeal, thank you very much! Every gift, large or small, will be of huge value as we aim to reach our fundraising target. These response forms contain further information as to how you can give and notify us of your donation.

If you have any questions about this project, then please email ASI.Phase2@allsaintsilkley.org.

Thank you for all your support and generosity!
