Phase 2

And just like that, it's been 4 and a half years since Phase 1 of our Building Redevelopment Project was completed!

Our redeveloped Church building, kitchen and toilet facilities along with our new (glass fronted) Link building have enabled these spaces to be used in so many different ways, and we have been thrilled to see these spaces well used and enjoyed by the church family and our wider community. As well as our wide-ranging programme of Church activities, we have loved hosting the Ilkley Literature Festival, the Ilkley Chamber and Philharmonic Orchestras, Ilkley Town Council, local refugee support groups, local charity and community groups, choirs and other musical groups, the birthday parties and everyone else who has walked through our doors. We have also been delighted to be able to offer Ilkley Foodbank a permanent home in one of our office spaces and welcome the significant numbers of visitors who come into Church to experience the extensive history and heritage of our buildings as part of their visit to our town. 

We are now planning for the second (and final) phase of improvements to our buildings so that we can expand and develop our contribution into the wider community. In January this year, we launched the fundraising appeal for Phase 2 so that we can redevelop the rest of Church House, which includes our church hall and main office space. The intention is to have quality, flexible facilities across all our buildings, with improved heating, lighting and disability access. There will also be a new meeting room for church and community usage and all rooms will be accessible without going outside!

Next fundraising event: 'Yorkshire 3 Peaks' Challenge, Saturday July 6th

A group from All Saints will be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on Saturday July 6th to raise funds for our Phase 2 Appeal. If you think you might like to take part in the walk or be part of the support team, we'd love to hear from you - please contact the Church Office (office@allsaintsilkley.org). 

If you would like to sponsor our team of walkers, we will shortly be setting up a gofundme page and will share details of this on this webpage as well as on our on Facebook and Instagram pages so please keep your eyes peeled!
