Community Noticeboard

There's always lots going on in and around Ilkley, and we will put up notices and posters of local events on this page. We regularly update this page so please come back to check for new events. All events are listed in date order.

We also send out a weekly news bulletin with useful information about what's going on at All Saints as well as church family news. If you'd like to sign up for this, then you can do so here

Friday July 4th 2025 - Ilkley Cycle Races

The countdown has begun for one of the most exciting evenings in Ilkley's calendar – the Ilkley Cycle Races. This event attracts hundreds of cyclists and thousands of spectators from across Yorkshire and beyond. The event, which winds through the heart of Ilkley's town centre, has become a hallmark of community celebration, athleticism, and Yorkshire grit. More details on the programme are available at https://ilkleycycleraces.co.uk/.

Chris Hack is co-ordinating the army of local volunteers required to put on this event. "This event simply can't happen without the help of our volunteers. From set-up throughout the afternoon to helping clear the barriers at the end of the night, the dedication of our volunteers is what keeps the Ilkley Cycle Races safe, exciting, and running like clockwork."

There are dozens of ways to get involved – no cycling or volunteer experience required. Shifts are available throughout the day and evening, and volunteers are free to sign up for as much or as little time as they can spare. More information about the volunteer roles is available at https://www.ilkleychat.co.uk/post/support-ilkley-cycle-races-as-a-volunteer. To sign up as a volunteer, please visit https://volunteersignup.org/8JMBY. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Chris at organiser@ilkleycycleraces.co.uk
